About Homebody Dining

Hi, I’m Tatiyanna Shantice, a 30-year-old private chef, creator, and the heart behind Homebody Dining. Born in Brooklyn and raised in Queens, I fell in love with the art of cooking at a young age, inspired by culinary legends like Emeril Lagasse, Bobby Flay, and Paula Deen. By 18, I was cooking for friends and their families just for fun — never imagining that one day, this passion would become my full-time life.

Life has taken me on quite the journey. After moving to Georgia in 2020 as a model, I found myself pulled back to what I love most: cooking. In 2021, I faced immense challenges and had to rebuild my life from the ground up. During this season, I realized my purpose — to create moments that matter through food and thoughtful experiences. That vision became Homebody Dining, a dream turned reality.

Homebody Dining is more than private chef services. We are curators of experiences — from intimate dinners and romantic picnics to special occasion room setups and luxurious gift baskets. Our mission is to bring restaurant-quality cuisine and elevated celebrations to everyday life, because everyone deserves to feel celebrated and cherished, no matter the occasion.

Growing up, my step-grandmother (God rest her soul) gathered us at the dinner table every night, creating unforgettable memories over home-cooked meals. That tradition inspired Homebody Dining: to help families, couples, and friends create moments together that linger in memory, nourished by love, intention, and flavor.
